Feelin’ Feta

Recently I went on holiday to Rhodes, and the food was amazing. First of all, the honey from Rhodes is soo tasty, so make sure you have some (or lots) if you go. The local town to our hotel was Lindos which was beautiful. It has winding cobbled streets, traditional tavernas and the historical Acropolis. The beach in Lindos was probably my favourite, the sea was so clear and blue – the kind of stuff postcards are made of.

We went to Lindos for dinner most evenings; lots of restaurants were on the rooftops so you got a lovely view of the town and Acropolis. One of my favourite dishes I had was feta in filo pastry, with honey and sesame seeds on top. So good! I’ve been dreaming of it since being home so I tried to find a recipe to make my own. This one turned out pretty similar and isn’t hard to make, so give it a go if you’ve got a cheese craving or fancy something differnet.

  1. Love Rhodes and any Greek Island for that matter. The cheese and spinach parcels or as the greek put it spanakopita are some of my favourites along with the pitta gyros!
